This Dragon-Style Twins card would be a great addition to a red aggressive deck that focuses on casting a lot of noncreature spells to trigger its prowess ability and maximize its double strike potential. While this card has strong synergy with prowess triggers, there may be better options available depending on the specific strategy of the deck, such as Monastery Swiftspear or Soul-Scar Mage. However, Dragon-Style Twins could still see play in decks looking to capitalize on its unique combination of abilities and aggressive playstyle.

Any spell you cast that doesn’t have the type creature will cause prowess to trigger. If a spell has multiple types, and one of those types is creature (such as an artifact creature), casting it won’t cause prowess to trigger. Playing a land also won’t cause prowess to trigger.

Once it triggers, prowess isn’t connected to the spell that caused it to trigger. If that spell is countered, prowess will still resolve.
