About Advanced Reconstruction

Advanced Reconstruction, Enchantment — class, designed by Randy Gallegos first released in Apr, 2026 in the set Secrets of Strixhaven Commander. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of C$ 0.33.

Advanced Reconstruction would fit best in a red-based graveyard value or “impulse‑cast” deck—such as Rakdos (BR) or Izzet (UR) spellslinger lists—that actively fill the graveyard and can take advantage of casting cards from exile, since it effectively turns self-mill into card advantage and later into damage and cost reduction; it also has synergy with escape, flashback, jump-start, disturb, and other mechanics that move cards out of the graveyard, making Level 2 a steady damage engine in the right shell. However, compared to established staples like Underworld Breach (far more explosive graveyard recursion), Fable of the Mirror-Breaker (immediate value and filtering), or even Experimental Synthesizer and Light Up the Stage (cheaper, more efficient red card advantage), this card is relatively slow due to its upfront cost and additional mana required to level, making it likely too clunky for competitive Constructed formats but potentially playable in slower Standard environments or Comm
