About Bloodthirsty Aerialist

Bloodthirsty Aerialist, Creature — vampire rogue, designed by Igor Kieryluk first released in Jun, 2019 in the set Core Set 2020 and was printed exactly in 5 different ways. It see play in 3 formats: Commander, Duel Commander and Casual. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of C$ 0.21.

Bloodthirsty Aerialist fits well in a life-gain themed deck, particularly those utilizing black and possibly white or green for synergy, as it can grow significantly with each life gain, making it a formidable threat in the air. Decks that include cards like Ajani's Pridemate or Soul Warden can amplify life gain, enhancing the Aerialist's potential. While there are stronger flying creatures, such as Lyra Dawnbringer for raw power or Serra Ascendant for its early-game dominance, Bloodthirsty Aerialist's ability to scale with life gain makes it a solid choice in the right build. Overall, it should see play in life-gain strategies, especially in formats where its synergy can be fully realized.

Each creature with lifelink dealing combat damage causes a separate life-gaining event. For example, if two creatures you control with lifelink deal combat damage at the same time, Bloodthirsty Aerialist’s ability will trigger twice. However, if a single creature you control with lifelink deals combat damage to multiple creatures, players, and/or planeswalkers at the same time (perhaps because it has trample or was blocked by more than one creature), the ability will trigger only once.

07/12/19

The ability of Bloodthirsty Aerialist triggers just once for each life-gaining event, whether it’s 1 life from Impassioned Orator or 4 life from Dawning Angel. If you gain an amount of life “for each” of something or “equal to the number” of something, that life is gained as one event and the ability of Bloodthirsty Aerialist triggers only once.
