Chillerpillar, Snow creature — insect, designed by Suzanne Helmigh first released in May, 2019 in the set Modern Horizons and was printed exactly in 2 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of C$ 0.18.
Chillerpillar would be a great addition to a snow-themed control deck in Magic: the Gathering, benefiting from the synergy with other snow permanents and mana sources. While it offers a decent flying threat when monstrous, there are potentially better options like Ice-Fang Coatl or Boreal Elemental that provide more immediate value or stronger abilities. Chillerpillar could see play in a casual or themed deck, but may not be competitive in more optimized strategies.
06/14/19
Chillerpillar gaining flying after it becomes blocked won’t remove the blocking creature from combat or cause Chillerpillar to become unblocked.
06/14/19
Once a creature becomes monstrous, it can’t become monstrous again. If the creature is already monstrous when the monstrosity ability resolves, nothing happens.
