Mortify, Instant, designed by Brian Snõddy first released in Jun, 2002 in the set Magic Online Promos and was printed exactly in 28 different ways. It see play in 1 formats: Commander. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of C$ 0.15.
Mortify is an excellent removal spell that would benefit Esper control decks in Magic: the Gathering. It's versatile in being able to target both creatures and enchantments, giving the deck flexibility in dealing with threats. While there are other removal spells like Fatal Push and Vraska's Contempt that are more efficient in some cases, Mortify's ability to hit both types of permanents makes it a solid choice for control decks, especially if the meta includes a mix of creatures and enchantments. It should definitely see play in the sideboard to provide answers to a variety of threats.

This spell isn’t Modal. When it resolves, it will destroy the target if it’s a creature or an enchantment, even if it changed from one to the other between targeting and resolution.
