About Phantasmal Shieldback

Phantasmal Shieldback, Creature — turtle illusion, designed by Daniel Ljunggren first released in October 2024 in the set Foundations Jumpstart. It see play in 1 format: Legacy. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of C$ 0.12.

Phantasmal Shieldback could be beneficial in a deck that focuses on drawing cards and utilizing illusions, as it provides card advantage upon its death. However, its vulnerability to being sacrificed when targeted by a spell or ability may limit its effectiveness. Other cards like Snapcaster Mage or Delver of Secrets might be better options for decks looking for card advantage and board presence, making Phantasmal Shieldback less likely to see play in competitive Magic: the Gathering decks.
