About Something Worth Saving
Something Worth Saving, Instant, designed by PINDURSKI first released in September 2026 in the set Reality Fracture.
Something Worth Saving is best in **green self-mill / graveyard-value decks** that play a very high permanent count: Golgari or Selesnya graveyard decks, delirium/descend shells, creature-toolbox decks, enchantment/land recursion decks, and Limited decks that want both card selection and graveyard fuel. It is much worse in spell-heavy decks because it can only put a **permanent** into your hand, and milling four can miss if your deck has too many instants/sorceries. The closest comparison is **Cache Grab**, which is usually better in Squirrel/Food shells because it has the same core effect and can create a Food token; **Grisly Salvage** is stronger in BG decks if you mostly want creatures or lands because it looks one card deeper; **Grapple with the Past** is better when you care about rebuying a specific creature or land already in the graveyard. I would expect Something Worth Saving to be **playable in Limited** and possibly useful as redundancy in casual Commander or graveyard-syner
