About Strategic Intervention

Strategic Intervention, Enchantment, designed by Elizabeth Peiró first released in Jun, 2026 in the set Marvel Super Heroes Commander.

Strategic Intervention would fit best in a white-based aggressive “go-tall” or Voltron-style deck that regularly attacks with a single creature—such as Heroic, Aura-based, or equipment-focused strategies—because it rewards attacking alone with a small power boost and tempo advantage by tapping a potential blocker; it could also slot into an Exalted-style deck in older formats or a Commander build built around a single large threat. However, the effect is fairly modest for a 2-mana enchantment, as +1/+1 and tapping one creature only when attacking alone is narrow and low impact compared to stronger alternatives like All That Glitters, Ethereal Armor, or Maul of the Skyclaves in aggressive builds, or Always Watching and Wedding Announcement for broader board value; even cards like Gryff's Boon or Sentinel’s Eyes often provide more consistent pressure. Because it doesn’t generate card advantage and only works under a specific condition, it would likely be fringe-playable at best and outcl
