About Wing Puncture

Wing Puncture, Instant, designed by jD first released in May, 2020 in the set Scars of Mirrodin. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of C$ 0.49.

Wing Puncture would be beneficial in a green aggro deck that focuses on attacking with powerful creatures and taking out flying threats efficiently. While Wing Puncture is a decent removal option, there are better alternatives like Prey Upon or Rabid Bite that offer similar effects for the same cost without the restriction of targeting a creature with flying. Overall, Wing Puncture may not see much play in competitive decks due to its limitations compared to other removal spells available in Magic: the Gathering.

If either target has become illegal by the time Wing Puncture resolves, the spell will still resolve but have no effect. If the first target is illegal, it can’t perform any actions, so it can’t deal damage. If the second target is illegal, there’s nothing for the first target to deal damage to. If both targets have become illegal, the spell won’t resolve.
