About Agadeem Occultist

Agadeem Occultist, Creature — human shaman ally, designed by Vance Kovacs first released in Feb, 2010 in the set Worldwake. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of € 0.18.

Agadeem Occultist would be a great addition to a black-based Ally tribal deck in Magic: the Gathering, where you can easily have multiple Allies on the battlefield to maximize its effect. However, a more versatile option could be the card Rise of the Dark Realms, which allows you to bring back all creatures from all graveyards onto the battlefield under your control. While Agadeem Occultist has its niche uses, the broader utility of Rise of the Dark Realms might make it a better choice for certain strategies, but Agadeem Occultist could still see play in specific Ally-focused decks.

You may target any creature card in an opponent’s graveyard with Agadeem Occultist’s ability. You check whether the targeted card’s converted mana cost is less than or equal to the number of Allies you control when the ability resolves. If you control too few Allies at that point, the ability does nothing.
