However, a more competitive option might be Archangel of Thune, which not only gains life but also pumps your creatures. While Angelic Chorus can be a fun and thematic inclusion, it may not see play in more competitive environments due to its high mana cost and potential for being removed easily.

This does not trigger on a permanent being turned into a creature. That is just a permanent changing type, not something entering the battlefield.
