This Avatar of the Resolute card would be a great addition to a green stompy deck that focuses on quickly building a board presence with creatures that have +1/+1 counters. Decks that utilize cards like Hardened Scales or Winding Constrictor to multiply the number of +1/+1 counters on creatures would benefit greatly from Avatar of the Resolute's ability to enter the battlefield with additional counters. While there may be other powerful green creatures in Magic: The Gathering, Avatar of the Resolute's potential to grow in size quickly makes it a strong contender for inclusion in decks that revolve around +1/+1 counters.
