About Blindblast

This card, Blindblast, would be beneficial in an aggressive red deck aiming to quickly eliminate threats on the opponent's side of the battlefield while maintaining card advantage. While it offers a small amount of removal and disruption, there are potentially better options available in the current Magic: the Gathering card pool, such as Lightning Bolt or Shock, which provide more immediate and efficient removal at the same mana cost. Casting Blindblast after a creature has blocked won’t remove the blocking creature from combat unless the damage Blindblast deals causes that creature to die. It won’t cause the creature it blocked to become unblocked even if the blocking creature does die.
