About Cursed Scroll

Cursed Scroll, Artifact, designed by D. Alexander Gregory first released in Oct, 1997 in the set Tempest and was printed exactly in 10 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of € 40.96.

A deck that focuses on card advantage and card selection would benefit from using Cursed Scroll, as it provides a way to potentially deal damage while also filtering through your hand. However, there are better cards with similar effects, such as Isochron Scepter, which can repeatedly cast a chosen instant card. Whether Cursed Scroll should see play would depend on the specific strategy and synergy within the deck, as it can be a versatile and surprising tool in the right circumstances.

Rules

08/01/08

If you have no cards in hand, you still have to name a card. Then you fail to reveal one (since there aren’t any). Since the named card wasn’t revealed, no damage is dealt.
