A deck that focuses on controlling the board and disrupting the opponent's strategy would benefit from using Descent into Madness, as it can quickly strip away the opponent's resources. While Descent into Madness can be a powerful card in the right deck, there are potentially better options available such as The Abyss or Smokestack, which offer similar effects with more immediate impact. Whether Descent into Madness should see play depends on the specific strategy and synergies of the deck it's included in.
