This Hedron Crab card would fit well in a mill deck in Magic: The Gathering, where the main strategy is to force the opponent to draw cards from the top of their library until they run out, losing the game by not being able to draw a card. While Hedron Crab is a solid choice for its low cost and consistent milling ability, there are more powerful mill cards like Glimpse the Unthinkable or Archive Trap that could be considered for a more competitive deck. However, Hedron Crab can still be a valuable addition to a mill deck and should see play in the right build to help accelerate the milling process.

The landfall ability triggers whenever a land enters the battlefield under your control for any reason. It triggers whenever you play a land, as well as whenever a spell or ability (such as Rampant Growth) causes you to put a land onto the battlefield under your control. It will even trigger when a spell or ability causes another player to put a land onto the battlefield under your control (as can happen with Yavimaya Dryad’s ability, for example).
