Karametra's Acolyte would be beneficial in a mono-green devotion deck in Magic: the Gathering, where it can generate a significant amount of green mana based on the player's devotion to green. While it is a solid ramp card, there are potentially better options like Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx, which can generate even more mana under the right conditions. Karametra's Acolyte could still see play in decks that focus on green mana generation and ramp strategies.

If an activated ability or triggered ability has an effect that depends on your devotion to a color, you count the number of mana symbols of that color among the mana costs of permanents you control as the ability resolves. The permanent with that ability will be counted if it’s still on the battlefield at that time.
