Rootgrapple would be a valuable addition to a Treefolk tribal deck in Magic: the Gathering, providing targeted removal while also offering card draw if a Treefolk is on the battlefield. However, there are more efficient removal spells available, such as Beast Within or Nature's Claim, which offer more versatility or lower mana costs. Rootgrapple could see play in a casual Treefolk-themed deck, but competitive decks may opt for more powerful removal options.
