About Silkwrap

Silkwrap, Enchantment, designed by Adam Paquette first released in Jun, 2002 in the set Magic Online Promos and was printed exactly in 4 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of € 0.32.

A white control or tempo deck would benefit from including Silkwrap, as it can temporarily remove low-cost threats from the battlefield while providing a small advantage. However, cards like Journey to Nowhere offer a more permanent removal solution for creatures with mana value 3 or less in certain situations, making it a potentially better alternative to Silkwrap depending on the deck's strategy and playstyle. Face-down creatures have a converted mana cost of 0. If one is exiled by Silkwrap, it will return to the battlefield face up.

If a creature token is exiled, it ceases to exist. It won’t be returned to the battlefield.

If Silkwrap leaves the battlefield before its triggered ability resolves, the target creature won’t be exiled.

In a multiplayer game, if Silkwrap’s owner leaves the game, the exiled card will return to the battlefield. Because the one-shot effect that returns the card isn’t an ability that goes on the stack, it won’t cease to exist along with the leaving player’s spells and abilities on the stack.
