About Watcher Sliver

Watcher Sliver, Creature — sliver, designed by Liz Danforth first released in Oct, 2006 in the set Time Spiral and was printed exactly in 2 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of € 0.05.

Watcher Sliver would be beneficial in a Sliver tribal deck, as it enhances the toughness of all Sliver creatures, making them more resilient in combat. This card is particularly useful in decks that focus on swarming the opponent with multiple Slivers, as the added toughness can help them survive against aggressive strategies. However, there are arguably better options, such as the Sliver Hivelord, which not only provides a toughness boost but also grants indestructibility to all Slivers, making it a more powerful choice for a Sliver-centric strategy. While Watcher Sliver can see play in casual formats or specific builds, its effectiveness may be overshadowed by stronger Sliver cards in competitive settings.

Because damage remains marked on a creature until the damage is removed as the turn ends, nonlethal damage dealt to another Sliver may become lethal if Watcher Sliver leaves the battlefield during that turn.

Abilities that Slivers grant, as well as power/toughness boosts, are cumulative. However, for some abilities, like flying, having more than one instance of the ability doesn’t provide any additional benefit.
