A deck focused on ramping up mana quickly and playing big creatures would benefit from including Battle Mammoth, as it provides card advantage and a strong body with trample. While there may be other cards that offer similar effects, such as Questing Beast or Elder Gargaroth, Battle Mammoth's ability to draw cards when your permanents are targeted by opponents' spells or abilities can provide valuable card advantage in the right deck.
