Wizards today announced an introduction to the Dungeon mechanic, which will be available in the new Adventures in the Forgotten Realms set.
Firstly, Dungeons do not enter the deck, they are placed in the Sideboard before the game starts, but also don't count as part of the 15 Sideboard Cards.
Every time you play a card or activate an ability that says "Adventure the Dungeon", you have the following options:

If you're not in a dungeon yet, you can choose an out-of-game dungeon and place it in the Command Zone. After that, you will put an adventure token in the first room of the dungeon.
If you're already in a dungeon, you can move your adventure token down one space by following the arrows shown on the card. If you have two levels you can go to, you can choose one of them.
For each room you enter the Dungeon, an effect described in the room will occur in-game.
For example:
Upon entering the first room of Lost Mine of Phandelver, you will Scry 1.
When entering the second room, you can choose to enter the Goblin Lair and create a 1/1 Goblin token OR enter Mine Tunnels and create a Treasure token.
Each player can have their own dungeon, and players can only join one dungeon at a time.
To join another dungeon, the player must finish their current dungeon.
When you enter the last room of the dungeon and its effect resolves, the dungeon will be exiled. Which means you've completed a dungeon.
There are cards that care about Dungeons or if you've completed a Dungeon:
