As a custom card, **Overwrite the Multiverse** would fit best in a creature-light blue-black control deck (or Esper/Grixis control) that wants a hard reset against creature-heavy opponents while turning the wipe into a Jace planeswalker with substantial loyalty; because it exiles rather than destroys, it is especially useful against indestructible creatures, death triggers, recursion, and graveyard-focused decks, but it is poor in decks that rely on their own creature board. At six mana, it faces very strong competition: **Farewell** is generally better and more flexible because it can exile creatures, artifacts, enchantments, and graveyards; **Deadly Cover-Up** is cheaper at five mana and can permanently remove copies from graveyards, hands, and libraries; and in formats where exile is less important, **Damnation**, **Toxic Deluge**, **Crux of Fate**, or **Extinction Event** are more efficient sweepers.
