About Admonition Angel

Admonition Angel, Creature — angel, designed by Steve Argyle first released in Feb, 2010 in the set Worldwake and was printed exactly in 3 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of € 0.79.

Admonition Angel would be a great addition to a control deck that focuses on stalling the game and removing threats from the opponent's board. Its ability to exile nonland permanents can provide valuable removal, especially when combined with landfall triggers. However, it may not be as efficient in faster, more aggressive decks where the high mana cost could be a hindrance. Other cards like Banishing Light or Oblivion Ring offer similar removal options at a lower cost, making them potentially better choices depending on the deck's strategy and mana curve.

Admonition Angel’s landfall ability and its last ability are linked. The last ability refers only to cards exiled with its landfall ability.

The landfall ability triggers whenever a land enters the battlefield under your control for any reason. It triggers whenever you play a land, as well as whenever a spell or ability (such as Rampant Growth) causes you to put a land onto the battlefield under your control. It will even trigger when a spell or ability causes another player to put a land onto the battlefield under your control (as can happen with Yavimaya Dryad’s ability, for example).
