A red control deck focused on stalling the game and burning the opponent down would benefit from using Form of the Dragon, as it provides a constant source of damage and protection from ground creatures. However, there are better options for winning the game more efficiently, such as direct burn spells or creatures with haste. Form of the Dragon could see play in a casual or themed deck, but it may not be competitive in more optimized strategies.
