About Treasure Cruise

Treasure Cruise, Sorcery, designed by Cynthia Sheppard first released in May, 2020 in the set Khans of Tarkir and was printed exactly in 12 different ways. It see play in 1 formats: Commander. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of $ 0.20.

A deck that utilizes a lot of cards that can be easily put into the graveyard, such as self-mill or graveyard recursion strategies, would benefit from Treasure Cruise due to its Delve ability allowing for a reduced casting cost. However, in competitive Magic: the Gathering formats, there are generally better draw spells available, such as Dig Through Time, which provides more card selection. While Treasure Cruise can be powerful in certain situations, it may not be the optimal choice for most decks in competitive play.

The rules for delve have changed slightly since it was last in an expansion. Previously, delve reduced the cost to cast a spell. Under the current rules, you exile cards from your graveyard at the same time you pay the spell’s cost. Exiling a card this way is simply another way to pay that cost.

You can’t exile cards to pay for the colored mana requirements of a spell with delve.
