Sobre Grieta tectónica

Grieta tectónica, Brujería, diseñada por John Avon lanzado por primera vez en Jul, 2011 en edición Magic 2012 y fue impreso exactamente en 4 diferentes formas. Actualmente se vende al precio más bajo de 0.30.

Un mazo rojo agresivo centrado en la destrucción de tierras y atacando con criaturas se beneficiaría del uso de Tectonic Rift, ya que puede alterar la base de maná del oponente y dificultarle el bloqueo. Sin embargo, hay mejores cartas de destrucción de tierras disponibles en Magic: the Gathering, como Stone Rain o Molten Rain, que pueden destruir cualquier tierra sin la restricción de necesitar un objetivo. Tectonic Rift podría funcionar en estrategias específicas que dependen de alterar la base de maná del oponente, pero puede que no sea la opción más eficiente en todas las situaciones.

If the target land is an illegal target by the time Tectonic Rift tries to resolve, the spell doesn’t resolve. Creatures without flying will be able to block as normal. If the target is legal but not destroyed (most likely because it has indestructible), creatures without flying will be unable to block.
