The Basic Lands
The new set will also feature the full-art metropolis basic lands will be available in Draft, Set, and Collector Boosters.
The Five Families
Streets of New Capenna will be focused on the five crime families which fight for the domain of the city, each one of them based on one of the five Shard tri-colored combination.
The Five Families and their colors are:
Obscura (White, Blue Black)
Maestros (Blue, Black, Red)
Riveteers (Black, Green, Red)
Cabaretti (Red, White Green)
Brokers (White, Green, Blue)
And each family has their own tri-land:
And each tri-land will feature two alternate versions, with Borderless and Skycraper versions.
And each family also has their own plans and strategies to expand their domain on New Capenna, as we can see with the Brokers Ascendancy.
The Packaging
New Capenna will feature five different Prerelease packages, theme boosters and Commander decks for each of the five families, and the Commander Decks names are already revealed:
Obscura Operation (white-blue-black)
Maestros Massacre (blue-black-red)
Riveteers Rampage (black-red-green)
Cabaretti Cacophony (red-green-white)
Bedecked Brokers (green-white-blue)
Secret Lair x Stranger Things alternate card versions
The Magic: The Gathering-themed versions of the cards from Secret Lair x Stranger Things were also previewed:
These cards can be found on The List slot on New Capenna Set Boosters, and will only be available on non-foil versions, and will be treated as the same card as their respective versions from Secret Lair x Stranger Things.
