In order to counter two target spells, both of those spells must be on the stack at the time you cast Double Negative. Two spells can be on the stack at the same time as the result of an ability (such as cascade or replicate), as the result of a copy effect (such as the one from Cloven Casting or Twincast), or because a spell has been cast in response to another spell.

Es inusual que un jugador lance un hechizo en respuesta a su propio hechizo, y se indicará específicamente cuando ocurra. En circunstancias normales, si un jugador lanza un hechizo, se supone que ese jugador pasa la prioridad después. Si ese jugador lanza otro hechizo, se supone que cada uno de los demás jugadores también ha pasado la prioridad, lo que hizo que el primer hechizo se resolviera y que el primer jugador recibiera prioridad de nuevo. A menos que el primer jugador diga lo contrario, solo habrá un hechizo en la pila a la vez en ese escenario.
