Esta carta sería beneficiosa en un mazo de control basado en blanco que busque interrumpir el estado del tablero del oponente al atar a las criaturas clave. Si bien Kitesail Cleric ofrece versatilidad con su habilidad de kicker, existen opciones potencialmente mejores como Deputy of Detention o Reflector Mage que proporcionan efectos más impactantes. Sin embargo, Kitesail Cleric aún podría verse en juego en un mazo económico o tribal donde sus habilidades se sincronicen bien con la estrategia general.

An ability that triggers when a player casts a kicked spell resolves before the spell that caused it to trigger, but after targets have been chosen for that spell. It resolves even if that spell is countered.
