Un mazo que se centra en controlar el tablero y perturbar la estrategia de tu oponente se beneficiaría al usar Sustitución repentina en Magic: the Gathering. Esta carta puede ser particularmente efectiva contra mazos que dependen de hechizos no criatura poderosos, permitiéndote no solo tomar el control de sus hechizos clave sino también redirigirlos potencialmente a tu favor. Mientras que Sustitución repentina es una carta única y versátil, puede haber opciones más eficientes dependiendo del meta específico y la estrategia de tu mazo, como Apropiar o Robo de hechizo, que ofrecen efectos similares con costos de maná potencialmente más bajos o beneficios adicionales. En general, Sustitución repentina podría verse jugar en ciertos mazos de control o disruptivos que buscan un giro sorpresa en su jugabilidad.

If the target spell or the target creature is an illegal target as Sudden Substitution resolves, the exchange won’t happen. If both targets are legal but are both controlled by the same player, the exchange won’t happen.

In a multiplayer game, if the controller of one of the objects leaves the game after Sudden Substitution resolves, the effect that gave them control of the spell or permanent expires. If the spell is still on the stack, the player who gains control of it this way can’t choose new targets for it.

The exchange lasts indefinitely. It doesn’t expire for the spell if the creature changes zones or leaves the game, or vice versa.
