Black Lotus is sold for $3 million and becomes MTG's most expensive card

On this Monday (29), the collectible card valuation company CGCCards announced that it had carried out the most expensive card transaction in the history of Magic: The Gathering and the company: an Alpha Black Lotus was sold for $3 million.

According to the official CGCCards website, this particular copy of Alpha Black Lotus was graded as Pristine 10, the highest grade of quality made by the company, described as "a virtually flawless card to the @@@@ eye. The centering is 50/50, and the card has flawless color and registration", making it one of, if not the most impeccable Black Lotus in the world.

The Black Lotus It is widely known in the Magic and TCG communities for its high rarity and its fame as one of the most expensive cards in history, with several auctions reaching very high prices over the years.
