Magic: The Gathering World Championship XXVI in Honolulu, Hawaii, featured sixteen of the world's best Magic players competing for the $ 300,000 prize and World Cup trophy. It was Paulo Vitor Damo da Rosa (PVDDR), who took the lead and won the great prize and the trophy.
Soon after his victory, we saw major Brazilian newspapers announcing the Brazilian winner. O Globo, one of the largest circulating newspapers in Brazil, dedicated a web page just for the champion. It was also possible to ride a bus around Brazil and see Paulo Vitor's face printed in articles:

This picture was taken in public transportation in Brazil. I never seen anything like that ever for card games and it wasnt a paid promotion.

PVDDR's fame went to all corners of Brazil, now his team, Tempo Storm, has released a new video called Paulo's Odyssey, and gives us a behind-the-scenes view of Brazil's Hall of Fame journey to the top.
The video shows Paulo's career from the beginning, from the moments he did not believe in professional Magic until today.
Paulo Vitor's family was not left behind and made an incredible reception for him at the airport.
