This Terrain Generator card would be beneficial in a deck that focuses on ramping up mana quickly, especially in mono-color or two-color decks with a lot of basic lands. While it provides a consistent source of additional mana, there are better options available such as Rampant Growth or Farseek, which can search for any basic land and put it onto the battlefield untapped.
