Naya, Plan : alara, conçu par Zoltan Boros & Gabor Szikszai sorti pour la première fois en Sep, 2009 dans l'édition Planechase Planes et a été imprimé exactement dans 2 formes différentes.

Cette carte, Naya en tant que Plan de Magic: The Gathering, bénéficierait grandement d'un deck thématique basé sur les terrains qui se concentre sur l'accélération des terrains et la maximisation du nombre de terrains joués à chaque tour. Alors que Naya offre la flexibilité de jouer plusieurs terrains par tour et de fournir un boost de puissance temporaire à une créature rouge, verte ou blanche, il existe potentiellement de meilleures cartes comme Azusa, Lost but Seeking ou Oracle of Mul Daya qui offrent des capacités d'accélération de terrain plus cohérentes et puissantes. A plane card is treated as if its text box included “When you roll , put this card on the bottom of its owner’s planar deck face down, then move the top card of your planar deck off that planar deck and turn it face up.” This is called the “planeswalking ability.”

If you play lands using Naya’s first ability, and then you planeswalk away from Naya, the lands you played still count as additional land plays for the turn. If you haven’t already, you can still play a land using your standard land play.

The controller of a face-up plane card is the player designated as the “planar controller.” Normally, the planar controller is whoever the active player is. However, if the current planar controller would leave the game, instead the next player in turn order that wouldn’t leave the game becomes the planar controller, then the old planar controller leaves the game. The new planar controller retains that designation until they leave the game or a different player becomes the active player, whichever comes first.
