Sphinx of the Final Word, Creature — sphinx, designed by Lius Lasahido first released in Jan, 2016 in the set Oath of the Gatewatch Promos and was printed exactly in 3 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of 4.71.
A control deck focused on protecting its spells and maintaining board presence would greatly benefit from Sphinx of the Final Word. Its ability to prevent its own counterspelling, along with granting hexproof and uncounterability to instant and sorcery spells, makes it a powerful tool against opposing control strategies. While there may be other options like Teferi, Time Raveler or Narset, Parter of Veils that offer additional utility, Sphinx of the Final Word can be a strong inclusion in the right deck, especially against counter-heavy metas.

A spell that can’t be countered can still be targeted by spells or abilities that would counter it. The part of their effect that would counter the spell won’t do anything, but any other effects those spells or abilities may have will still happen, if applicable.
