Cette carte Torchling pourrait être bénéfique dans un deck de contrôle rouge qui se concentre sur la manipulation des situations de combat et le ciblage des sorts. Bien que Torchling offre de la polyvalence avec ses capacités, il peut ne pas être le choix le plus efficace pour le jeu compétitif par rapport à d'autres cartes comme Snapcaster Mage ou Vendilion Clique, qui offrent un impact plus immédiat et un avantage en cartes. Cependant, Torchling pourrait toujours être joué dans des decks occasionnels ou à thème à la recherche d'une carte changeforme amusante et interactive.

If a spell has multiple targets, but it’s targeting Torchling with all of them (such as Seeds of Strength targeting Torchling three times), you can target that spell with Torchling’s third ability. In that case, you change all of those targets to the same new target, as long as it meets each of the spell’s targeting conditions.
