Un mazzo incentrato sul controllo del campo e sulla disturbo delle creature avversarie trarrebbe beneficio dall'inclusione di Biting Rain, specialmente in un mazzo a tema Madness dove puoi sfruttare il suo costo di lancio alternativo. Mentre Biting Rain è una discreta opzione per pulire il campo, ci sono carte più efficienti come Damnation o Languish che offrono un migliore rapporto qualità-prezzo per il costo di mana in termini di rimozione di creature in massa. Biting Rain potrebbe trovare spazio in strategie o formati specifici dove le sue meccaniche uniche possono essere massimizzate, ma in generale, ci sono opzioni più forti disponibili per effetti simili.

A spell cast for its madness cost is put onto the stack like any other spell. It can be countered, copied, and so on. As it resolves, it’s put onto the battlefield if it’s a permanent card or into its owner’s graveyard if it’s an instant or sorcery card.
