Un mazzo che fa molto affidamento sul lancio di incantesimi istantanei e stregoneria, come un mazzo rosso ricco di incantesimi in Magic: The Gathering, trarrebbe vantaggio dall'utilizzo di Bedlam Reveler poiché può potenzialmente essere lanciato a un costo ridotto a causa del numero di incantesimi nel cimitero. Anche se Bedlam Reveler può fornire un vantaggio di carte pescando tre carte quando entra nel campo di battaglia, potrebbe non essere sempre l'opzione migliore in quanto ci sono altre carte come Young Pyromancer o Snapcaster Mage che offrono un valore e un'utilità più costanti nei mazzi ricchi di incantesimi.
