Un mazzo che si concentra sulla ricorsione del cimitero e sull'vantaggio di carte, come Dredge o un mazzo di controllo basato sul cimitero, trarrebbe beneficio dall'includere Conflagrate. Mentre Conflagrate offre flessibilità nella distribuzione del danno e può essere lanciata dal cimitero con la sua abilità Flashback, altre carte come Lightning Bolt o Fiery Confluence potrebbero offrire un impatto e un'efficienza più immediati, a seconda della strategia del mazzo. Tuttavia, Conflagrate potrebbe comunque essere giocata come un'opzione versatile per i mazzi che cercano di sfruttare le interazioni del cimitero e le strategie di bruciatura.

You divide the damage as you cast Conflagrate, not as it resolves. Each target must be assigned at least 1 damage. You can’t choose more than X targets and assign 0 damage to a target.

“Flashback [cost]” means “You may cast this card from your graveyard by paying [cost] rather than paying its mana cost” and “If the flashback cost was paid, exile this card instead of putting it anywhere else any time it would leave the stack.”
