Un mazzo di controllo che si concentra sull'interruzione del piano di gioco dell'avversario trarrebbe vantaggio dall'utilizzo di Mindslaver, poiché consente il controllo completo sulle decisioni e sulle risorse dell'avversario per un turno. Sebbene Mindslaver possa essere una carta potente e rivoluzionaria, ci sono altre opzioni come Emrakul, la Fine Promessa, che non solo controlla il turno dell'avversario ma fornisce anche un'enorme minaccia sul campo di battaglia.
