De Assault // Battery-kaart zou nuttig zijn in een rood-groen aggro-deck dat vroege druk wil uitoefenen en extra aanwezigheid op het bord wil genereren. Hoewel de kaart een veelzijdige mix biedt van directe schade en creatie van wezens, zijn er potentieel efficiëntere opties beschikbaar in de huidige Magic: the Gathering-kaartenpool, zoals Lightning Bolt voor pure schade of Rampant Growth voor ramp. Assault // Battery zou echter nog steeds spel kunnen zien in specifieke strategieën die waarde hechten aan het tweeledige nut en het genereren van wezentokens.
