A deck that focuses on high mana value commanders, such as Eldrazi or other big creatures, would benefit from using Cloudkill in Magic: the Gathering. However, there are better options like Toxic Deluge, which provides more control over the amount of -X/-X and can be more versatile in various situations. Cloudkill could see play in specific commander decks where its unique effect aligns well with the strategy, but overall, it may not be a staple inclusion in most decks due to its limitations compared to other board wipe options.
