A deck that focuses on graveyard synergies, such as a Dimir Control or Dimir Mill deck, would benefit from using Contingency Plan due to its Surveil ability that helps with card selection and filling the graveyard. While Contingency Plan is a decent card for setting up future draws and fueling graveyard strategies, there are better options like Chart a Course or Discovery // Dispersal that provide card advantage or additional utility. However, Contingency Plan could still see play in decks looking to maximize graveyard interactions or those needing specific card selection.
