Dazzling Lights kunnen nuttig zijn in een controle- of tempodeck dat tot doel heeft de wezens van tegenstanders te verstoren en tegelijkertijd kaartvoordeel te behalen door middel van surveillance. Er zijn echter betere opties zoals Fatal Push of Drown in the Loch die een effectievere verwijdering of bruikbaarheid bieden. Dazzling Lights wordt misschien niet veel gespeeld in competitieve decks vanwege het beperkte effect, maar zou nog steeds een plaats kunnen vinden in casual of budget-builds.
