Diepe analyse, Tovenarij, designed by Daren Bader first released in Feb, 2002 in the set Torment and was printed exactly in 26 different ways. It see play in 2 formats: Pauper and Commander. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of € 0.05.

Een controle- of tempodeck dat tot doel heeft kaarten te trekken en het kaartvoordeel te behouden, zou baat hebben bij het gebruik van Deep Analysis, omdat het kaarttrekken mogelijk maakt tegen een redelijke prijs. Er zijn echter betere opties beschikbaar, zoals Fact of Fiction of Chemister's Insight, die meer kaartvoordeel of flexibiliteit bieden. Deep Analysis zou spel kunnen zien in decks die specifiek gebruik willen maken van de flashback-mogelijkheden of die op zoek zijn naar extra kaarttrekkingsopties, maar het is misschien geen topkeuze in een zeer competitieve omgeving.

To determine the total cost of a spell, start with the mana cost or alternative cost (such as a flashback cost) you’re paying, add any cost increases, then apply any cost reductions. The converted mana cost of the spell is determined only by its mana cost, no matter what the total cost to cast the spell was.

You can cast a spell using flashback even if it was somehow put into your graveyard without having been cast.

“Flashback [cost]” means “You may cast this card from your graveyard by paying [cost] rather than paying its mana cost” and “If the flashback cost was paid, exile this card instead of putting it anywhere else any time it would leave the stack.”
