Een Thought Scour-kaart zou nuttig zijn in een kaartspel dat zich richt op kerkhofinteracties of zelfmolenstrategieën, omdat het helpt het kerkhof te vullen en zichzelf ook vervangt door het trekken van kaarten. Er zijn echter betere kaarten zoals Glimpse the Unthinkable of Mesmeric Orb die efficiëntere freesopties bieden. Dacht dat Scour nog steeds spel in specifieke decks zou zien op zoek naar een goedkope cantrip die hun kerkhofspelplan ondersteunt.
