Depopulate

Over Depopulate

Depopulate, Sorcery, ontworpen door Jokubas Uogintas voor het eerst uitgebracht in april 2022 in de set Streets of New Capenna and was printed exactly in 5 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of € 0,25.

This card, Depopulate, would benefit a control deck that focuses on board wipes and card advantage, especially against decks that rely heavily on multicolored creatures. While it can provide card draw for opponents, the ability to destroy all creatures can be a powerful reset for the game. However, there are other similar cards like Wrath of God or Day of Judgment that offer a more straightforward board wipe without the drawback of card draw for opponents, making them potentially better options depending on the specific deck and meta. Overall, Depopulate could see play in certain metagames or sideboard situations where its unique effect is particularly useful.
