About Logic Knot

Logic Knot, Instant, designed by Glen Angus first released in May, 2007 in the set Future Sight and was printed exactly in 3 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of € 0.30. It's a key card in 1 combos.

A control deck that focuses on filling its graveyard with cards would benefit from using Logic Knot, as it allows for efficient mana usage and can be a powerful counter spell. However, in some situations, Mana Leak may be a better option due to its more flexible mana cost and easier to cast. Whether Logic Knot should see play depends on the specific strategy and synergy of the deck, but it can be a strong inclusion in the right build.

To cast Logic Knot, you choose a value for X, determine the total cost, then pay the total cost with some combination of mana and exiling cards.

You can exile cards to pay only for generic mana, and you can’t exile more cards than the generic mana requirement of a spell with delve. For example, you can’t exile more than seven cards from your graveyard to cast Treasure Cruise unless an effect has increased its cost.

Using delve doesn’t reduce the value of X. It just reduces the amount of mana Logic Knot’s controller has to pay.
