While Onulet's ability to gain life upon dying can be useful, there are potentially better options such as Kitchen Finks or Obstinate Baloth that provide more value or resilience in certain matchups. Whether Onulet should see play would depend on the specific strategy and metagame of the deck, as it offers a unique effect that could be relevant in the right context.
